Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.
Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.
An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Ethical Guidelines for Authors
Clinical Radiology and AI is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics. Authors are expected to adhere to the following ethical principles when submitting manuscripts to our journal:
- Originality and Plagiarism
Authors must ensure that their submitted work is original and has not been published elsewhere. All sources must be appropriately cited. Manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using reliable similarity detection software prior to peer review. Submissions with high similarity scores or evidence of plagiarism will be rejected.
- Multiple or Redundant Publication
Authors should not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously. Manuscripts should not contain redundant or duplicate publication without proper justification and full disclosure.
- Authorship and Acknowledgements
Only individuals who have made substantial contributions to the research and writing process should be listed as authors. All authors must approve the final version of the manuscript prior to submission. Any financial or technical support should be clearly acknowledged.
- Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest
All authors must disclose any financial, institutional, or personal relationships that could be perceived to influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript.
- Data Integrity and Reproducibility
Authors are responsible for the accuracy of the data and the integrity of the results presented in their manuscripts. Raw data and methods should be made available upon request for verification or replication purposes.
- Ethical Approval for Human or Animal Subjects
For studies involving human participants, authors must confirm that the study was approved by an appropriate institutional review board (IRB) or ethics committee, and that informed consent was obtained. For studies involving animals, ethical treatment and adherence to institutional or national guidelines is required.
If an author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in their published work, they must promptly notify the journal editor and cooperate in correcting or retracting the article if necessary.
AI Use in Research and Publication Guidelines
It aims to ensure ethical, transparent, and scientifically valid use of artificial intelligence in submissions. This policy applies to all manuscripts involving the use of AI technologies in research, data analysis, and related fields.
- Disclosure: Authors must disclose all AI tools, models, or algorithms used in the research.
- Transparency: The AI methodology and data sources must be described in detail, including model architecture and performance metrics.
- Ethical Considerations: Authors must ensure that AI is used ethically, without bias, and with respect for data privacy and security.
- Peer Review: AI-generated results must be evaluated and validated by human experts. AI-generated findings should not replace human judgment.
- Accountability: Authors are responsible for the results produced by AI models and must ensure their correctness and reliability.
- Reproducibility: Any AI-driven research must provide sufficient information to allow other researchers to reproduce the work.
