Clinical Radiology and AI
Clinical Radiology and AI is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing the field of radiology through the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. Our mission is to provide a platform for clinicians, researchers, and professionals to share cutting-edge research, clinical applications, and innovations at the intersection of radiology and AI.

The journal publishes original research articles, review papers, case reports, and technical notes covering topics such as:

History of the Journal
Clinical Radiology and AI was founded in 2025 to address the growing intersection between diagnostic radiology and artificial intelligence. It was established by a team of radiology professionals and researchers dedicated to advancing academic publishing in this field.

Archiving Policy (LOCKSS/CLOCKSS)
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS systems to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
Editorial Policy
The journal upholds the highest standards of research ethics and integrity, in line with international guidelines (COPE, ICMJE). All submitted manuscripts undergo a thorough peer-review process.
Clinical Radiology and AI adheres to the highest standards of publication ethics and integrity. Our editorial policies are guided by the principles of the ICMJE (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors) and COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics).
- Peer Review Process
All submissions are subject to double-blind peer review by at least two independent experts.
Manuscripts are evaluated based on originality, scientific quality, clarity, and relevance to the journal’s scope. Final editorial decisions rest with the Editor-in-Chief.
- Authorship
Only individuals who meet the ICMJE authorship criteria should be listed as authors.
All authors must have contributed significantly to the work and approved the final version of the manuscript.
- Conflict of Interest
Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence their work.
A Conflict of Interest Declaration Form must be submitted along with each manuscript.
- Plagiarism and Research Misconduct
All submissions are checked for plagiarism using reliable software.
Manuscripts found to include plagiarism, data fabrication, image manipulation, or unethical research practices will be rejected and may result in institutional notification.
- Ethics Approval and Patient Consent
For studies involving human participants, ethics committee approval must be obtained and stated clearly in the manuscript.
Patient consent is required when individual patient data or identifiable images are presented.
- Data Availability
Authors are encouraged to share anonymized data supporting their results.
Where applicable, data availability statements should be included in the manuscript.
- Retraction and Correction Policy
In cases of serious errors, misconduct, or ethical concerns, the journal reserves the right to issue corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions, following COPE guidelines.
